Subversion is our success

The Subversive Fair being staged in mid-May is a one-of-a-kind event—social criticism, amusing initiatives & witty stunts, fascinating ideas and actionist activities amidst what ironically looks an awful lot like a run-of-the-mill trade show. So stop by and get acquainted with how the counterculture gets down to work!
Forest fire wallpaper for a nice, cozy living room. Or “Nordic Stalking” poles with integrated eavesdropping capabilities. Now, these are the kinds of products that modern consumers really need! The articles being presented in this conventional trade show setting are, in many instances, radically simple and make their point in a direct, in-your-face way! But this fair entails much more than pushing products; what’s being purveyed here to a far greater extent are ideas and stimuli to get people into a proactive mode. The Subversive Fair thus offers visitors a convenient one-stop shop for intense confrontations with sociopolitical issues and the chance to deal critically with a wide variety of content. In addition to the four-day trade show, Social Impact’s staff will also be staging a gala show, a symposium on the subject of “States of Normalcy amidst the Crisis” as well as an evening entertainment program featuring music and cabaret. The fair will culminate with a classically thirst-quenching Austrian brunch down at the harbor.
So line up your tickets now to this don’t-miss, four-day event!
