Walter MATHES (AT)

Walter MATHES (AT) was born in 1959 in Vienna. He received formal training as a potter and ceramics painter and went on to complete his studies at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts’ Department of Film and Television. He also trained as an actor in Vienna. He has worked as an actor on TV shows (including “Kommissar Rex” and “Medicopter”) and on the short film “Saints and Villains”. He has also acted in theaters including Kleines Theater Salzburg, Theater Phönix Linz, Waldviertler Hoftheater and Schauspielhaus Vienna, as well as at the Wiener Festwochen. Walter Mathes also draws comics. Since 2005, he has been receiving training in multimedia art therapy and has also been involved in socially integrative activities as a trainer with the Log-In theater group.
