Rotraud KERN (AT)

Rotraud Kern was born in 1979 in Braunau, and currently lives and work in Vienna. Following her training at SEAD–Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, she worked in Burghausen, Germany and in Salzburg, including a 2003 stint at Szene Salzburg. She has been a dancer for Thierry De Mey, Georg Blaschke and Hubert Lepka. Since 2005, she has worked on Kabinett ad Co./Paul Wenninger’s productions of “cc cushion,” “sie schaut sie,” “Imbue” and “TUBED.” In 2007, she presented “Play,” her first full-length production. Rotraud Kern is the founder of “Markier dein Revier,” an initiative designed to strengthen Salzburg’s indie performance scene.
