Barbara CARLI (AT)

Barbara Carli was born in 1976 in Graz. She works as a director, actress and theater pedagogue. She is a member of Die Rabtaldirndln, an ensemble including Bea Dermond, Rosi Degen, Gerda Strobl and Gudrun Maier. In addition to her extensive work as an actress and director, she has been involved in numerous pedagogical projects in schools. At the Pedagogical Institute, she has conducted performative play seminars for teachers (including “Directing Youth Theater” and “From Play to Text.” Barbara Carli (in collaboration with Gudrun Maier) is artistic director of the
international youth theater festival “Jugendtheater 2.3” in Bad Radkersburg and “Rabiatperlen 2.7” in conjunction with Theaterland Steiermark in Deutschlandsberg. She also heads the international children’s theater festival “Theaterfabrik 2.8” at Theaterland Steiermark in Weiz.
