Matthias SCHLOSSGANGL (AT)
Matthias Schloßgangl was born in 1969 in Steyr. He completed his study of acting at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz in 1995. As a freelance actor, he has appeared at theaters throughout Austria including Bregenz, Innsbruck, Salzburg and Vienna. In Linz, Matthias Schloßgangl has appeared at Theater Phönix, Bühne04, Kellertheater and at Theater des Kindes. In 2007 at Bühne04, he directed “Antigone” by Jean Anouilh. He staged “Bockerer” based on the work of Becher/Preses in 2008 for the Lichtenberger Bühne. Matthias Schloßgangl’s efforts in the performing arts focus on the question of how to relate fascinating stories that really touch people. Accordingly, his great passion is for improvisa-tional theater in which both audience and cast are the directors. He is a member of the board of directors of the Impropheten® Improvisational Theater at Posthof Linz and he regularly performs in improv shows. Experience as a moderator both off-the-air and on commercial TV, training in body work according to the Grinberg® Method, and his many years of stage experience form the basis of his activities as a trainer. Matthias Schloßgangl is an independent singing and voice teacher. He is an instructor at technical colleges in Linz and Hagenberg and at the Linz Art University.
