Andrea STOTTER (AT)
studied modern dance and dance pedagogy at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna. Since 1996, she has worked as a dancer and choreographer in Austria and abroad (including stints in Paris, Brussels, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Geneva, Barcelona and Montreal).
She is a founding member of the dans.kias company and has been a member of the ensemble of the homunculus dance theater for many years. She has been involved in projects at Wien Modern, Taschenoper Wien, Staatsoper Wien, Tanzquartier and Internationale Tanzwochen Wien both as a dancer and assistant choreographer.
The list of leading choreographers with whom Andrea Stotter has collaborated includes Jennifer Lacey, Vera Mantero, Royston Maldoon and Benoit Lachambre. She also holds training sessions and workshops at the Vienna Conservatory’s Department of Ballet.
She is currently working together with choreographers Milli Bitterli (“Can you feel my hard beat?”) and Georg Blaschke (“körper.bauen.stellen”).
