Dietmar Brehm, Linz’s renowned cinematic artist, painter, photographer, professor at the Linz Art University and long-time fixture on the international avant-garde art scene, has created FLIEGE, the 2008 festival trailer. This production has been made possible by CROSSING EUROPE’s cooperation with Linz 2009 European Capital of Culture. In the words of Martin Heller: “That this year's festival trailer is the work of such a high-profile personality as Linz artist Dietmar Brehm makes this contribution by Linz09 a way of acknowledging the local art scene as well.”
