This year's tribute was conceived in cooperation with the Lithuanian film festival Scanorama, at which CROSSING EUROPE has been present each year since 2006 with a focal-point program. Linz09 is going all out to support this effort: “Vilnius will be sharing 2009 Capital of Culture honors with Linz. Needless to say, we’re very much interested in an intensive process of exchange. One initiative by Linz09 is to make possible this screening of several Lithuanian documentary films.”
