A Fashion Label for the Capital of Culture
Copyright: Astrid Benzer
“Bad Rabbit” is the new fashion label that Linz artist Astrid Benzer has created for “The Ill Rabbit” project. Her 12-piece “Bad Habit” collection blatantly displays some of Upper Austrian dialect’s most rip-roaring cuss-words! You can pick up your expletive-emblazoned wearable beginning June 30, 2009 at KunstRaum Goethestrasse xtd.
All your faves are there: Bleampl, Ruamzutzla, Blunzn, Flitschal, Sumpernelle! And those are just a few of the 100 juicy swearwords that provided the Linz artist with her vulgar inspiration. The result is “a must-have for all fashionistas, maledictologists and just plain potty-mouth bastards,” Astrid Benzer said. But get your ass in gear ‘cause the supply is limited! Head to the Bad Rabbit Shop at Goethestraße 30. Limited engagement: July 1-20, 2009. Tuesday to Friday, 2-8 PM and weekends, 4-8 PM is when you can try on the merchandise, make your purchase and become a part of the Bad Rabbit community. The Ill Rabbit // Crazy about Linz:
