Linz09 is present in the form of an information booth and a café at the actb–Austrian and Central European Travel Business, Austria's most important tourism trade show now going on in Vienna. Together with representatives of the Linz City Tourist Board and several partners from the local hospitality industry, Linz09 is getting out the word among media outlet representatives and travel industry professionals. The Capital of Culture’s offerings are getting a very positive response worldwide. Master pastry chef Leo Jindrak gave café visitors a taste of Linz’s sweetest side with his authentic Linzer Tortes. Österreich Werbung Director Petra Stolba gave high marks to Linz’s presentation. At a press conference, he noted that: “Europe’s 2009 Capital of Culture is another excellent reason to travel to Austria this year.”
