“Acoustic City” is constantly approaching men and women in public life and requesting their input and support for the initiative’s mission. Such backing can take all sorts of forms: using public speeches as opportunities to addresses disturbing developments with respect to public acoustic space, lobbying leaders in politics and commerce to implement noise pollution-free spaces, and efforts to support and maintain the Akustikon as the center and culmination point of “Acoustic City.”The ever-growing list of “Acoustic City” supporters includes:
