Europe is Murderous

What sort of book is resting on your night table? We’d be willing to wager that the most frequent answer is: a detective story. This month, Linz09 invites readers to attend five murderous evenings revolving around literature’s most popular genre.
European authors of crime fiction are among the international crème de la crème in this genre. Håkan Nesser, David Peace, Arne Dahl, Stefan Slupetzky and Christine Grän are some of the top names that will be coming to Linz over the course of this month for moderated readings at Posthof. The series is entitled “Murderous Europe.” There’s also a special event on the lineup: a reading of essays about detective stories.MURDEROUS EUROPE
