Summer at Bellevue

You can’t miss it: the yellow building perched atop the downtown expressway’s Bindermichl Tunnel. Into September, Bellevue will be offering a daily program for the residents of the Bindermichl and Spallerhof neighbourhoods, and anybody else who’d like to stop by and join the fun!
There’s a different program every day—movie night, cooking & talk shows, activities for kids, workshops and live music. The facility’s open daily from 11 AM to 12 Midnight; admission is free. It also includes a canteen that, in addition to serving as an event venue, is also a favorite spot for locals to get together. Bellevue is hosting a short-term artist-in-residence program, so the lineup includes presentations and exhibitions of interesting artworks. Summer vacation is an especially good time to sample Bellevue’s offerings. How about a free Flamenco or Butoh workshop? Or a course in Greek-style home cooking?
