Top-name artists have composed and arranged “Circus” music to make you listen, laugh and marvel. Come along when Martin Ptak takes the audience “Once around the World” in Linz’s Bergschlössl. Under the direction of Gunar Letzbor, Linz composer/exorcist Romanus Weichlein gets a chance—after a 300-year hiatus—to put his “unrecognized genius” on public display in the Limonistollen Caves. Alexander Drcar and Ensemble09 will be presenting their “Futuristic Music” at several locations. And Renald Deppe will enchant you with his “Magic” program.This summer, “Circus” will be setting up its traditional French wooden tent in Linz as well as the Upper Austrian cities of Schärding and Gmunden. Although advance ticket sales have only just begun, some performances are already sold out. So make your reservations now so you’ll be right up front when the ringmaster cries: “Ladies and gentlemen and children of all ages, welcome to the big top!”
