A One-of-a-kind Fireworks Display above the Danube

This promises to be the hands-down highlight of opening night! The “Rocket Symphony” staged shortly after midnight will feature about 400 singers amorously entwining their voices with the pyrotechnic spectacle.
A don’t-miss world premiere: Orlando Gough, Michael Henry and Tom Ryser were commissioned to create and stage the “Rocket Symphony” expressly for this occasion. An electronically amplified chorus of about 400 vocalists from throughout Upper Austria supported by the British group The Shout will literally play with fire. They’ll be creating nine tableaux illustrating all the states that love can assume: from initial infatuation, to seduction, sex and love songs, all the way to the grand finale.For details about the opening, click here: www.linz09.at/opening
