Linz09 wird sich nicht nur im Zentrum der Stadt abspielen, sondern erobert das gesamte Stadtgebiet. Den wichtigsten Stellenwert nimmt dabei das Projekt „Kulturhauptstadtteil des Monats“ ein.
During 2008, round-table discussions were held in all 12 of the city’s neighborhoods. Invitees included institutions, associations, community groups as well as each and every resident. The aim was to launch a creative dialog within the neighborhood that would result in the submission of ideas and proposals. This pilot project turned out to be a big success. Beginning in January 2009, the general public will be able to see and experience the nine neighborhood projects, initiatives and campaigns that emerged.
