The Linz09 Infocenter on Hauptplatz opens this month. It’s your one-stop shop for everything having to do with the Capital of Culture year. Programme Book 3/3 will also be coming out in November.
Following extensive renovation work over recent months, the Linz09 Infocenter located right on Hauptplatz, the city’s main square, is ready to open. Caramel architekten, the winner of the architectural competition staged in conjunction with the project, has designed a space whose exterior and interior are integrated by a distinctive checkered pattern. The Linz09 Infocenter is the go-to place for inquiries about the Capital of Culture year. It also features a ticket office and a shop. Plus, this is where tourists can find exactly what they’re looking for—hotel reservations and guided tours, for instance. The Infocenter’s doors open on November 20, 2008.Linz09 Infocenter
