Despite Illness: The Linz Europa Tour’s Show Must Go On!

Due to a severe case of bronchitis, Hubert von Goisern has been unable to perform at Linz Europa Tour West concerts in recent days. Nevertheless, not a single date had to be cancelled. On July 17, the Alpine rocker will continue touring as planned.
On doctor’s orders, Hubert von Goisern won’t be appearing for a week. The diagnosis: a severe summer flu with bronchitis and inflammation of the respiratory tract. The star came down with this illness shortly after the successful kickoff of the Linz Europa Tour West.Thanks to the spontaneous support of his fellow artists, the entertainment has continued and only one date has had to be postponed. The concert set for July 11 in Karlsruhe, Germany has been rescheduled for July 22. All admission tickets remain valid. Audience members at the July 6 concert in Mainz at which guest artist Xavier Naidoo spontaneously made a solo appearance will receive a 10-euro discount on tickets to the make-up event with Hubert von Goisern on November 10 in Mainz. The July 8 concert featuring Zdob Si Zdub, Rambo Amadeus and the Rumanian band Karandila could go on as planned, though without Hubert von Goisern as congenial moderator. Hubert von Goisern’s ship-based tour will resume according to schedule on July 17.
