Culture from January to December—the 230-page Programme 2/3 providing the latest details about the Capital of Culture year lineup is hot off the press! The dates, times and venues of many projects have already been finalized, so visitors can start planning their trip to Linz right now. The European Capital of Culture festivities include an interesting calendar of aperitif events in 2008, the New Year’s Eve grand opening spectacle, exhibitions, theatre festivals, a highly diversified musical and literary programme, installations in public spaces, artistic interventions focusing on Linz’s neighbourhoods and social issues, as well as events being staged in the outlying region. Diversity is the name of the game!
