Hollywood in Linz
Shot in Linz and Upper Austria, “Jump” is an international film production that will premiere on April 16 in Linz’s Design Center.
“Jump” is based on a true story involving Philipp Halsman, who went on to fame in the USA for his photographic portraits of celebrities published in Life Magazine. As a boy in the 1930s, Halsman was at the center of a highly publicized trial in the wake of a mountaineering accident in which his father died. The story provides the basis of this film, which director Joshua Sinclair shot in Linz and Upper Austria. Actors Patrick Swayze, Ben Silverstone, Martine McCutcheon and Heinz Hoenig will be among the guests at the world premiere in the Design Center.www.jump-der-film.at
