Kopfstand09 in September
Franco Bianchini, internationally renowned expert in urban development and cultural planning, is the featured guest at the next Kopfstand09 on September 24.
This will be the seventh get-together in Linz09’s Kopfstand series. Franco Bianchini has a worldwide reputation as a scholar in the field of cultural planning. In October, he will carry on his academic career as Professor for Cultural Policy and Planning at Leeds Metropolitan University. Previously, he worked together with the City of Liverpool in conjunction with Liverpool 2008 to develop the “Cities on the Edge” concept. In Linz, Franco Bianchini will chat with Martin Heller about cultural planning and urban development and report on his work in that field.The Kopfstand09 event format was launched in the spring of 2006 as a series of speeches and discussions spotlighting insights and experiences that come from a wide variety of European contexts and that are relevant to the Capital of Culture year.
