An Evening among Friends
Hubert von Goisern performed the final concert of the Linz Europa Tour 2007 together with musicians he had welcomed aboard his tour ship.
To the Black Sea and back. Hubert von Goisern’s eastbound journey has been completed and his grand finale concert was held in his home port, Linz. Despite a rainy forecast, 8,000 people turned out at the floating stage moored in front of the Brucknerhaus. Hubert von Goisern didn’t go into details about the journey itself: “We experienced so much that I have to work it out in my own mind first,” he said, and turned over the stage to some of the musicians who were on board for the trip. The opening act was the Hohtraxlecker Sprungschanznmusi from Bad Ischl, Austria. Then Rambo Amadeus from Montenegro gave the crowd a taste of his turbo-folk. Bulgarian viola da gamba virtuoso Darinka Tsekova then joined Hubert von Goisern to conclude the evening with a spirited tour de force.Recommended links:
