Following a major renovation, the O.K. Center for Contemporary Art reopened on August 31.
The construction work took 10 months. Now, the brand-new O.K featuring the Moviemento arthouse cinema, a new restaurant/bar, Café Solaris and updated, multifunctional facilities is ready to open its doors on Friday, August 31. The “OK Open” festivities will culminate in an event on October 13 when the plaza in front of the O.K will again be publicly accessible. Perhaps the most spectacular feature: the look of the new Lobby, where Taiwanese artist Michael Lin has painted more than 300m² of floor and wall space with floral patterns. The new O.K’s inaugural exhibition, “Cyberarts 07” showcasing this year's Prix Ars Electronica prizewinners, opens on September 6.www.ok-centrum.at
