2007 Festival of the Regions

The Province of Upper Austria holds a Festival of Regions every two years. The 2007 theme is “Exits and Dead Ends.” The host region is Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen.
Beginning June 23, the Festival of the Regions presents itself as a large-scale exhibition in the public sphere at multiple venues along a 30-kilometer stretch of autobahn between Kirchdorf and Windischgarsten—a vacant shopping center, gas stations and parking lots as well as on fields, lakes and mountainsides. The entire lineup and info about each individual project is available online at www.fdr.at. Linz09 has planned to work together with the 2009 festival.
