Debuting on Linz’s Event Calendar: “sicht:wechsel”
Over nine days, the sicht:wechsel (perspective:change) cultural festival will showcase works of art by handicapped people from all over Europe. Linz09 is a committed supporter of this event.
sicht:wechsel is an international integrative cultural festival that will be held for the first time in Linz June 22-30. The featured artists are people with handicaps working in the theater, dance, music and the graphic arts. Invitees include artists and groups from Germany, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Poland and Switzerland.As a cooperating partner, Linz09 is pitching in to make it possible for this new event format to be the setting for a discourse on non-mainstream artistic fields and to do so in a way that touches participants on both a human and an aesthetic level.
