60,000 clothes hangers are the raw materials of “Worrying solves nothing,” an alphabetic sculpture by Stefan Sagmeister. Students at schools in Linz and Upper Austria will be helping the artist set up the 38-meter-long line of text that will go on display in the Spittelwiese pedestrian mall.
Artist Elfie Semotan presents the portraits from her "Standing Waiting" series to the salespeople she photographed in downtown shops. These images can be viewed in two-meter-tall illuminated display cases in the empty arcade in the Casino.
The creation of “Little Danny,” Hung-Chih Peng’s five-meter-tall dachshund sculpture consisting of 300 stuffed animals, starts with construction in the Arkade of the wire mesh form on which the little toy pooches will be mounted.

For “Money does not make me happy” by Stefan Sagmeister, a large-format banner is being installed on the façade of Casino Linz.
The glass façade of the Passage shopping center is being covered with a cross stitch pattern, a work by Michael Lin.
Swiss artist Hilde Kentane is hanging large cloud-like formations made of plastic bags below the ceiling of the Passage.
