In conjunction with “UmLinzRum”—literally “round about Linz,” one of the projects being staged as a lead-in to the Capital of Culture year—the first writers’ workshop was held last fall in the Czech city of Budweis. On February 6, 2007, the first contingent of texts to emerge from this project will be presented at a reading in Linz.
